Open fields at its best. No particular layout.
In my brief gameplay, I was not convinced with map layout and with the fast paced CoD-like gameplay. I prefer the "slower" paced gameplay of previous BF.
Better now mr.Private Profile?
I understood quite good BF4 and BF1 map flows.
BFV isn't something people can just pick up and play for casual fun if you haven't played it previously. It has a learning curve different from BF1 and BF4. The Map layouts aren't the greatest and for some this was the major drawback of the game was the maps.
I say pay for at least 10 hours and have a more precise and accurate review. Not saying that what you're saying is wrong but I would love for you to play a little more.
Instead focusing on ground troop battles is in a attempt to cash in on the call of duty craze, I guess.
I thought by 2025 we would have a battlefield game where everyone could have a vehicle, if they wanted. :/
I guess were in the minority.
Made me think seriously on giving this game another try. Maybe in another sale.
