Star Wars Battlefront attempts to capture the excitement of large-scale battles set in the Star Wars universe, but unfortunately falls short of delivering a truly engaging experience. While the initial presentation creates an impression of authenticity through familiar sound effects and recognizable characters, the lack of substance quickly becomes apparent. The game feels more like a shallow showcase of nostalgia rather than a fully fleshed-out entry in the franchise.
Gameplay mechanics, while functional, quickly become repetitive and uninspired. The lack of variety in modes and limited depth in combat systems leave little to keep players engaged long-term. While short bursts of fun can be found in chaotic firefights, the overall design struggles to maintain interest beyond the initial novelty.
Visually, Star Wars Battlefront is its strongest aspect, with detailed environments and accurate recreations of iconic locations. The graphics are polished and succeed in immersing players in the Star Wars setting. However, even impressive visuals cannot mask the underlying lack of content and depth, making the game feel more like a technical showcase than a complete product.

The game won't even launch, but it's not Steam's fault. It's EA's fault. The EA app will either just redirect me to the home page of the app, or it will say that the game won't launch because some files aren't installed, even though those files ARE installed!
