Instant crashing on Linux

The title says it all.
I want to be given advice by the dabbing maid, and I won't switch to Windows for that.

try running it in steam proton's modes

I already did, didn't work (proton 8.0 and experimental)

Ah darn I have no idea then, I didn't build the game on linux, and I don't use linux. perhaps someone else can help out

eh don't worry about it, thanks anyway :)
I did manage to make it run on Wine tho, I just wanted to register the play time on the Steam client to give it a review (not even joking, the advice helped me a little through a rough time lmao)
