The "Season of Curses" has ended! The empowered cursed mutations were warmly received by players. They will remain in the game with a few balance tweaks — details below.

Seasonal Mutation: Bonuses from mutation altars have been amplified. This applies to bonus mutations in Sprint mode as well as the bonus from "More Altars" in the mutation tree. For some reason D'Spot is unexpectedly generous this month!

We always welcome your feedback on seasonal mutations. We regularly have live discussions with players on our Discord[discord.gg] server (usually—a week before the season ends.) The purpose of those discussions is to discuss the game's balance and upcoming features/changes. Feel free to join us, puny humans!

-Cursed Armor: Enemies receive less damage 180 ➔ 150.
-Curse of Magic: Decreased health reduction from 40% ➔ 30%.
-Curse of Gluttony: Bonus damage cap reduced from 600 ➔ 500.

-In Sprint mode, the number of bonus mutations is now the same for runs with and without food.
-Knowledge Tokens now grant double the experience.
-Zombies have been slightly buffed in all modes:
Health increased from 1350 ➔ 1500.
Damage increased from 90 ➔ 100.
-Fewer tokens now drop in Sprint mode.
-Slightly more tokens now drop in Mutagens mode.

-Candle Skull (T3 Cultists): Armor bonus reduced from +35 ➔ +30.
-Sanuzzi Fridge (T3 Tanks): Health bonus per human level reduced from +15 ➔ +10.
-Grav-Gun (T3 Eggheads): Damage bonus increased from +110 ➔ +120.
-Chainsaw (T3 Fighters): Attack speed bonus increased from +10% ➔ +15%.


-Guard effectiveness increased: Damage bonus from +150 ➔ +170.
-Damage link damage reduced from 300 ➔ 200.

Seasonal Mutation: We have significantly buffed almost all combat-related cursed mutations, but the effects of curses have also become stronger. More details about the changes—below!

• Curse of Might: damage bonus 200 ➔ 400, chance to attack oneself 5% ➔ 10%;
  
• Cursed Armor: enemies take 70 ➔ 180 damage when attacked, but team members lose 5% ➔ 10% of health when moving;
  
• Curse of Puniness: humans can deal 400 ➔ 600 extra damage, but enemies increase by 15 ➔ 25 per attack;
  
• Curse of Magic: cooldowns reduced by 2 ➔ 3 seconds when using magic, but humans' health is reduced by 40%;
  
• Curse of Gluttony: humans consume 150% ➔ 200% more food, but the bonus damage cap is doubled;
  
• Curse of Variety: humans gain 1% ➔ 2% bonus health per unique item equipped, but item prices have increased: 5 ➔ 10.

• During "Sprint" mode runs, players now earn approximately 200 more tokens;
  
• Token rewards during "Mutagens" mode runs have been slightly reduced;
  
• The Plague boss now has slightly increased health and damage, as well as increased damage from the Nausea ability.

• Candle Skull (Tier 3 Cultists): +25 ➔ +35 armor;
  
• Sanuzzi Fridge (Tier 3 Tanks): +25 ➔ +15 health per human level;
  
• Grav-Gun (Tier 3 Eggheads): now grants +110 damage, with damage increasing by 10 per human level;
  
• Sucker Gun (Tier 3 Shooters): damage reduced: 55 ➔ 45;
  
• Chainsaw (Tier 3 Fencers): +10% attack speed.

• Changes to "Magic Defense Bonus" in the mutation tree at levels 1 and 4:

1. Level 1: magic resistance percentage 15% ➔ 10%;
   
2. Level 4: magic resistance percentage 80% ➔ 85%.

• "Guard": effectiveness increased: damage bonus 100 ➔ 150;
  
• "Cult Leader": effectiveness reduced: armor bonus 30 ➔ 20;
  
• "Guardian of the Order": effectiveness reduced: armor bonus 30 ➔ 20.
