I honestly believe that Detroit: Become Human is Quantic Dream's best game to date. First off, these games have always been more narrative/cinematic focused than gameplay focused, and pretty much everyone should understand what they're getting into with these kind of games by now. That being said, the three intertwining stories this game tells are incredibly emotional and thought provoking in regard to the near future of AI, as well as the morality and potential sentience of androids who were designed to do nothing more than mindlessly serve their owners. The amount of choices this game gives you in each character's journey is impressive, and how each potential choice could play into the ending you get gives this title endless replayability. All this without even mentioning how remarkably every character is acted. I was genuinely impressed by pretty much every character, from the three main characters all the way to the one deviant android you could only see for one scene. The story as an idea alone brings a lot of moral questions to the front of your mind, but when preformed by such a talented cast of actors, it brings a whole different feeling to you while progressing. The beautifully composed soundtrack also attributes to this very heavily. The music in Detroit sets up each scene almost perfectly, subtly instilling specific vibes and telling you how to feel, without outright spoon-feeding it to you. This game also graphically benefits from being heavily focused on the narrative experience, as the massive effort put into lighting, level design, character design, and general cinematic scenes stand the test of time and hold up exceptionally well. I'd go as far as to say it still looks better than some more modern releases.

I think Detroit: Become Human is an amazingly heart-wrenching and thought provoking game that is exceptionally acted, composed, and graphically designed and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys this style of "Interactive Movie" games, or has never tried them before, because this is one of the best!

I have played this game and it's life changing. I will forever respect androids and do whatever they tell me to do! I will look at the world differently and continue to treat everyone the same. Ahem, I am in love with connor.
