How do I turn off the music?
There is only one volume level and a choice for headphones or speakers that I can find.
Is there a console or some ini file settings or anything?
I don't like music in games (too distracting and annoying) and I would like to turn down the volume of the sound effects but keep the dialog volume on 100%.

Any help would be appreciated.

Same question hence reviving an old thread :)
The damn music is giving me a headache, I play using headphones and like the OP prefer to play games with the music at a minimum or off all together, finding it very strange that a game in this genre has not got individual sound controls, my usual sound setup for these games is music at about 25-30%, voices 100%, sound effects at about 75%.

I have only played the 1st scene with conner and if being honest not feeling like I want to play anymore with the flaming music drowning out everything and giving me a headache :( I wouldn't mind so much if the music wasn't so obnoxious :(

Music are important part of that game, QD always make only one volume setting. For myself personal, developers perfectly balanced music, voices and SFX's. I playing at 70 % game, 50 % windows. 100 % headphones.

I have hearing problems, certain tones/frequencies I don't hear, this makes it difficult for me to hear voices clearly that contain those tones when there is too much other noise going on. I get headaches when the music is too loud because I have too really concentrate to hear what the characters are saying so prefer to turn it down to make it easier for me to hear all of the conversation :)

Not being able to turn of the music renders this game unusable for editing, since the music gives away the cuts. ;(

Exactly. I'm eager for an answer for the same reason. I wish to re-insert the music in the editing. If you discover an answer I would really appreciate if someone could tell us. The only way may be to manually manipulate the game files, and replace the music tracks with silent audio.
Bump. How to adjust music level?

Someone mentioned that replacing game audio files with something else could do the trick...
