A short horror game about looking through the same areas and corridors for clues as to escape the station you find yourself awakened in.

We Went Back is a pretty good game. Short? Yes. However, that doesn't change the quality of a game (in my opinion). I'd personally rather play a short but sweet game than a long, boring game that feels like I'm trudging through mud rather than having a good time.

We Went Back can be beaten in just a few playthroughs. For people who are trying to speedrun the achievements by doing them all in one go, I've got bad news: not going to happen. A couple of the achievements cannot be collected in the same run. However, don't let that get you down—you can easily do it in fewer than three runs.

In all honesty, I'd recommend this game to anyone who likes a bit of horror along with something short and sweet. Same goes for achievement runners out there, despite the need for multiple runs.

If you're looking for a bit of lore, I'd bet there's a good amount. I won’t say anything here, as I don't want to spoil anything, but there's some juicy stuff in here—tape recorders, flashbacks, etc.

This is where I'll conclude my review. You want lore, achievements, something short and sweet, some horror, and/or something free? Get this. Beautiful game—I may come back multiple times just to re-experience it.
