Do not buy this game.
This game leaves you at the tutorial stage and you cannot go forward until you are stopped at the fence where the npc cannot open the door or the npc just doesnt appear. the game isnt worth, rockstar broke this game for a reason.

There's a patch which works well, but yes this game in its out of the box state is unplayable.

I got it working by using: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2166039806

then I downloaded the MHNoDRM.asi file and placing it in my Manhunt local files folder from https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Manhunt

That fixed the crashes and gates not opening glitch

Never forget. Rockstar selling you an illegitimate copy of their own game causing the same antipiracy glitch.
Piracy is never theft.
