I was expecting a game just like Enter the Gungeon, and instead I got something entirely different.
The graphics, the items, weapons and mechanics, the characters, are mostly the same as of the previous game... But the game becomes more of a platformer game, with some new mechanics to keep it a refreshing, new game.
Also, this is a much lighter game, runs are shorter, difficulty is much lower, but also most loot doesn't feel as good as it would in the previous game.

Nonetheless, boss fights are even more intense than the previous game, soundtrack is just as amazing, and the bullet hell element is still ever-present, leaving that satisfying gungeon feel.

It's really worth playing if you enjoyed Enter the Gungeon.
And while entering the gungeon took waaaay longer and lots more struggle, exiting will feel like a walk in the park - but a pleasurable one.
