Really wish I could leave a neutral review here.

It's a fun game for what's there. Really at its best when played with a few friends. Not too grindy, and most of the progression forces you to do some actual exploration and engage with the environment.

That being said, I'm not a huge fan of the direction things are going right now. Why lock armor sets behind a twitch drop on a game that's paid for up front and already has tons of sales? The Hollow Halls dungeons are a bit of a slog to clear even with multiple, over-leveled players. It reeks of marketing team trying to drive sales more than anything else.

For now this'll sit at positive because the game itself is good in spite of these decisions. We'll see if it stays that way after another update or two though.

there's absolutely no reason for what is essentially also a singleplayer game, to have usable gear locked behind.. twitch drops??

can't wait until I gotta buy a certain amount of crypto on another 3rd party site to unlock an exclusive bow or something
