Core Defense needs you!
First off: Core Defense is a community-driven game and would be nothing without the help of its awesome community.

In fact much of the content you see in the game today is based on ideas and suggestions from the community, so the most important thing you can do is share your ideas and opinions about the game, either in discussions here on Steam or on the game's friendly Discord [discord.gg]. All opinions are valid, all suggestions will be read and discussed! :-)

But there are numerous other things you can do to help:

  • Write a positive Steam review about the game
  • Share the game on social media or tell your friends about it
  • Tell your favorite streamer to check it out
  • Upvote the game here[www.slant.co]
  • Upvote the game here[www.slant.co]
  • Upvote the game here[www.slant.co]
  • Help translate the game on Localizor[www.localizor.com]

Can you add the ability to select map/grid size? Like if you want a 20x20 grid, a 50x10 grid, etc...

Also, can you add an option to randomly select where your core is, versus ALWAYS having it in the middle?

Tried out version 1.8.2. I have not played enough yet to comment on the play balance yet. But it seems as if Lightning is chaining to something off-screen.

I know this is possibly a no-go, but sometimes i wish i could have more than 7 towers, or more than one type of tower. Are they possible optional extras sometime? i agree, it might likely shatter the balance, but might be a fun mod...

Also, I was surprised the first time i came to the end, I expected to be able to view the stats then go back and play endless mode. but it's an either/or choice. i'd really like to be able to check the stats then keep playing on endless mode to see how far i can get. Is that a possibility?

I feel your pain on this one, unfortunately that's rather tricky to implement. I'll think about that one, too, though!

what if there was different tilesets like hexagon, triangle or multi-shape tilesets that have two types of wall and tower?

example: hexagon-triangle tileset that has powerful towers in hexagons and in triangles weak/support towers?
