Another game ruined by the community. I get repeatedly kicked from lobbies because I have the "wrong" car selected , but I can't change cars until it loads the track in the background , so it's a vicious circle of kick->rejoin->hope it loads in time...->kicked again.

Frankly I've already had enough of this for me to request a refund and never play this game again. Well done to the WF2 community....

This aside, to me it just seems to be WF1 again but with "MORE GRAPHICS" , which really just makes it all the more confusing trying to tell which way to go as there's so much more stuff on-screen. In real life eyeballs can work this out , on-screen it just means more stuff hiding the race route and confusing your senses.

I can't really feel any difference in the physics , powersliding is not very satisfying as there doesn't seem to be any obvious benefit to different approaches to the corners - the motorhome seems to be able to corner as well as a normal car, at least when the AI is driving , so it makes it all feel a bit pointless. The cars still roll over very easily, and it just feels like the same game as WF1 but with more stuff flying around. Same old getting stuck on that piece of immovable scenery which wasn't breakable, sometimes flung off-course by some small object which did nothing the previous 7 laps.., AI races mostly mean getting spun out in the first corner... I dunno it's just a feeling of seen that, played it , got annoyed by it already with WF1.... why spend another £25 (i think?) to just have the exact same experience all over again.

I really wish I could like this game but it just annoys me more than it entertains me. Maybe some people are happy with MORE FLYING STUFF but I'd really like a game that plays better. I was really hoping it would be an improvement but it just seems to be more of the same.

Auto look-back simulator

If you are looking for a second edition of the first Wreckfest, this isn't it. I think this is aimed way more towards the online mulitplayer base, and with the combination of early access, it does not cater to the "grind, career, upgrade" life of the its predecessor. Is there a career mode slated for future development? Maybe, I'll pick the game back up in a few weeks/months to check.

I wholeheartedly enjoy the "gearbox destroyed" after failing to synchro-shift, more realistic damage and driving experience overall and that comes with a learning curve, but that's not what this is about. No sarcasm at all it's a nice bit to add in but it is lacking heavily in the career-oriented approach that I've come to enjoy with the first and expected when buying the game.

Even at 20€ it's too much, atm. As the other comments said, it's too early for it. They haven't even removed the lobby cursor in-match. They have 2 modes now and a couple maps but at the time of the review it is just not fun. I'll change this review if needed if the game gets better.

Early access or not this game shouldn't have a price tag on it in it's current state. it's the original wreckfest with slightly better graphics. The game is so unfinished the dev's should be embarrassed to have released this steaming pile of crap to the public. I'll be refunding it and likely not repurchasing it at any point in the future. So congrat's BUGBEAR you lost another one...

Worse second version of a great original in the history of gaming, right up there with Battlefront 2. Released way too early, and still not complete. It's also a PC resource hog, that will likely require the lowest settings possible, and will still play like crap. Save your money, most definitely better spent on other games.

Game is poorly optimized,cars handle like bricks and pretty insulting charging 30 bucks for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
