I tried to play a few maps by the time i D/L they were on to another map i had to D/L should i go load the maps during the week ? Whats the best way to have the maps in my library ?

Well the mappack link IS in video description - you can "install" those we play and more with this pack, other way - like downloading from the game server works, but only if you switch off purging the "cache" folder for RO, otherwise it will be deleted in (default) time of 30 days.
I paste from Discord here:
"Nowadays the space on hard drive is not a big problem so you can just leave downloaded files from server "forever" in your game cache using simple trick by editing (using f,e, Notepad) your redorchestra.ini file for RO and marenostrum.ini for MN in System subfolders - when opened use find command for "PurgeCache" you should find (default)
[Core.System]
PurgeCacheDays=30

Change the value (30) to 0 and the game leaves the cache without deleting after the time (in days) - so you will not have to dl the same stuff again and again when joining our events."

Hey buddy , here is the run down for active servers . The german guys play tanks during the week . 5 to 10 of them . I suggest visiting their Clan page for events or news .

The fun maps and close combat guys do their server every day from like 2:30 EST to 6 pm . it varies but daily they play . The maps can be a long download .

Friday Fight nights and their events you have discovered . Try Darkest Hour DLC < free > also and the servers there still have many players weekdays . Tanks on weekends , combined arms . Huge maps .

Fight nights can be many players or medium . The maps are great . Sadly Red Orchestra needs a huge $ investment . This game was the best and the developers or Steam killed it on purpose . We had a HUGE Community that refused to stop playing . it was so painful . I have over 6000 hrs on this and RO2 , 3k on darkest hour .

Come play some tanks on DH weekends .
