the game is NOT single player, its only multiplayer
i just got suckered again and decided to purchase the game using my paypal account. the game only does multiplayer and theres no single player missions like i thought it would be. the videos look like it was a story line but nope... once again i was suckered in and lost my money. if your new and just wanted to check the forums first before you buy... dont buy it. there is no story line or single players missions. its only multiplayer servers, and when they go out... the game wont be no fun anymore

yes multiplayer as a option... because theres some games that dont offer multiplayer and thats a big seller if it does have multiplayer...if they wanted to convince anyone that it was multiplayer only maybe they should of stated ONLINE ONLY....if they say multiplayer, that just tells me they offer such a option, just like terraria and some other games i know that offer single and multiplayer options

So... where exactly did you get that impression?

There's nothing on the store page that mentions "single player missions" and I'm not sure how you inferred a storyline from the videos. Not to mention, from the description:

Fight in the theatre of war that changed the world forever. Battle alongside your compatriots on some of the most inhospitable environments of the Eastern Front in Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45. Red Orchestra places you in the most realistic WWII first-person multi-player combat to date on the PC

I don't think you can legitimately claim to have been "suckered" here, considering the above, and also considering that the game has been out for nearly a decade. A simple search on any decent search engine for "red orchestra single player" or similar terms would have cleared this up, and there have been about a dozen threads discussing this in the community hub. You didn't do your homework, plain and simple.

search engine for "red orchestra single player"... are you kidding me? many players dont do online researching before they purchase a game on steam... they watch the video preview and just like what they see and go for it....thats what i did...i thought it was story driven and had an actuall story line to it. but nope... the video was very misleading. there was nothing over the players heads to tell me it was multiplayer only... i strongly felt like i was watching a story line take place... who would of thought this was multiplayer only? thats sucks... medal of honor wasnt like that... it was single player AND multiplayer... so why not this game? huh? why not?

No, I'm not kidding. You have all these expectations of what this game you're buying is and apparently should be, but don't do any research before spending your money? I could ask you the same question: "are you kidding me?"

i shouldnt have to do the research first... its people like YOU who rush crap threw and not explain things. just like the chinese ebayers who look like they are selling high quality silicone love dolls but the actual product is NOTHING like the product they send you... its just full of air

"I have the retail box and it clearly says single-player campaigns in stalingrad for both russian and german sides containing 12 missions each"

you really should just search it up next time and don't blame people for your mistake.

Were you the same person who did this on the CSGO forums?
DukeoftheAges 9 Jan, 2017 @ 5:18pm
lol it's all your fault.
EngineerRabbit 9 Jan, 2017 @ 7:52pm
see? the other rabbit even said the game had single player missions... so i WAS suckered, and toaster... shut up idiot. people dont have time to do research on a game... the video on here is good enough. and the video didnt show any players names over the A.I heads... so me and about 1 million others had no idea that this game was strictly multiplayer only... you know? just shut up, all of you... shut it
