It's a sluggish feeling undercooked game, there's just no reason to play it over Slay the Spire or Monster Train.

Maybe not as polished as slay the spire, but it has some cool ideas i haven't seen in deckbuilders before. The writing and questlines are surprisingly good and really give the world a unique and cohesive atmosphere. Meta progression feels good, I just wish character unlocks happened faster as it almost discourages trying new classes. Some questlines have some poorly telegraphed points of no return, but it fits well with the almost dark soulsy vibe. Overall a great game for someone looking for another roguelite deckbuilder with great writing.

Though it takes you a while to find him, you can pet the dog. 10/10, would get bashed over the head again.
