What's up with the direction input in this game ?

It's so annoying the game doesn't let you just hold a direction in between areas or events you need to hold off the direction and then hold it again to start walking, can this be fixed ? Playing on Nintendo Switch btw and died 18 times in a row on THE ONE CHASE SCENE in this game, it automatically made this game a 3/10 at best.

We're aware of this issue which is caused by the game engine. We will release fix patch once we fix the issue soon.

Did this never get patched? I'm on PS5 and dying over and over again to this chase scene

This is honestly infuriating. Half the time she won't even start moving when the dialogue ends. I have to hammer the directional button and unless she takes off RIGHT AWAY it's a guaranteed game over

Can confirm this chase sequence still sucks on PS4 lol. Come on devs, seriously? This is not a tough fix. Just make the creature slower, you don't even have to address the weird directional input issue that way. (shrug)
