did you really think the dev woild sell a clipart beanie for 8 bucks, and NOT hide a game inside?
this is twinbeard we're talking about, lol
This has nothing to do with the DLC.
This game is about finding unexpected things. Hidden things. Screenshots make it extremely easy for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to ruin that experience for new players. It's not surprising that the only "disagreement" this has gotten are insults. That should tell you something about what kind of people are posting screenshots.
it's liek telling somebody DUMBLEDORE DIES!
but they havent even heard of Harry potter. it means literally nothing without the context.
But there is context. These screenshots can be seen by people who are already interested enough in the game to be looking. Using your example, this would be like telling someone who just started the series that Dumbledore dies and then explaining how. Not cool.
Notice that on the store page, only the game's initial, expected premise is shown. No spoilers.
Isn't the same thing true of literally every game on steam though? If you don't want to be spoiled, don't look through screenshots, I don't know what else to tell you.
Crap, can you guys, like, use spoiler tags? Not everyone has finished harry potter already. I'm still trying to figure out if he's gonna end up with that Cho Chang Chick. Tho mainly cause I'm a sucker for alliteration.
