[Bug] If you are stuck at some point

If you seem to be stuck at some point, you need to set the Time region format to English, as seen on this screenshot : https://imgur.com/pbVSXr1

Then relaunch the game and it should be good to continue!

Think this bug hit me after the parade scene. The text log just says the main character returned home, repeated for pages and pages, and the scene is frozen.

It's exactly this that happened to me, and my post above should fix this issue for you :)

This also applies to Linux systems. Under Pop!_OS 20.04 (an Ubuntu derivative), I had to change my format locale from France to the US.

(My symptom was an entirely non-responsive keyboard from the very start of the game, which made it impossible to move the turtle or play the typing section.)

This also happened to me and I was in Spain, not France! Characters at home wee invisible, but you could still talk to them. And in this type of game, you wonder if it's intended, talking to an invisible wife and an invisible bodyguard. You wonder if you are just talking to the dishwasher and the couch because you are crazy.

Also, the picture in the bedroom disappeared. Behind it, there was a safe or something like that?
