Really like the non vr version so looking forward to this but how come the art style has changed and isn't as realistic?

it sure feels like one, it feels like i bought a quest game for my pc. everything is oversimplified, to the point it feels like i'm cleaning house, not doing all the cool stuff i saw on the desktop version. Also, why is everything, literally everything, able to be cleaned with a BROOM? dirty wall? broom, water on the floor? broom, dirty table? broom, dirty bed? broom....
