i thought this game was super boring at first, but i ended up liking it a lot. the start is wayyy too slow tho

The gameplay is minimal, akin to something you'd see in a quantic dream or telltale game. These kinds of games can be very hit or miss and require something to pull, a great story, deep choices, characters or atmosphere. For the most part Little Hope does these things well, but it doesn't quite live up to the story and atmosphere of its predecessors, Man of Medan and Until Dawn.

Ive played all the Dark Pictures games so far and while Little Hope might be the least impactful entry of the series in my opinion, it does have a decent and fun story with some good characterization and monster designs. The ending will be hit or miss for a lot of people and might even sour you on an otherwise enjoyable experience but id encourage you to look at it another way than your knee jerk reaction would lead you to.
