The only bad thing about this game are the bugs, it crashed me just 2 times, and only with Aiz, in 46 hours and still got achievements to get, you should consider its the first pc game from the franchise, many of the firsts game from dbz naruto bleach one piece etc were a big crap with a pretty lower amount of gameplay hours, if you compare with the first games of other franchises or games based on animes its a very good one. If the haters didnt rushed to give bad reviews the game should had more buyers and i m pretty sure that the bugs would been solved

It's pretty trash as far as games go. If this was a doujin game it would be acceptable, but this is a fully licensed product and it's pretty embarrassing that this is what they came up with. They could have done so much with the dungeon exploration from the source material but they decided to turn everything into short missions that can easily be cleared within a few minutes. Don't even get me started on how bare bones all the rpg customization and combat is.

I love the source material but this game is a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ adaptation.

I would say all of the sword art online games are better. The hollow games are essentially all dungeon exploring. Hollow Fragment is literally exploring dungeon floors in a much better free form kind of way. What danmachi lacks is ultimately freedom. Everything feels so artificially packaged for you to only experience the game one way. There is no wonder on exploring floors because everything is either a time trial or copy paste. There's also no reason to even fully explore dungeons as well because the only loot in the game is consumables. You don't get that progression growth that other jrpgs in the same genre has. Also it's a really big negative that you don't actually bring any other people into the dungeon with you other than just being a support.

SAO games are awesome, but its like comparing perfect world with pokemon mistery dungeon on the gameplay style, the only thing they share is going through dungeons, and you are telling about a franchise with many games to be fair the only ones that could be mentioned here are
Sword Art Online Infinity Moment , and Sword Art Online: Lost Song, they had another popularity more money , more sells , and a vast large etc

you cant compare games with rotating point of view and aim with ones that are seen by above, is like compare fortnite with rapture rejects and/or super animal royale

I may be wrong but it may be based on the animated TV show found on Hulu. I like the show but sometimes games do match the show. I will give this an try as I picked it up cheap.

imagine an rpg-ish game where you can't sell in bulk, you have to add the items you wanna use 1 by 1, has no QA testing, game freezes when you use specials, some enemies are literally unbeatable without taking damage depending on what weapons you use, it's grindy as all balls and it just fails at being anything more than painfully average at the best of times. Even getting a 75% discount I can't say this game was worth it
