Mythic Paths. Real difference or cosmetic? Spoilers.
So spoilers are fine in the discussion, I know the basic story. I am on three playthroughs right now switching off between them all in act 3. I have an Angel/Paladin Azata/Arcane Trickster Aeon/Fighter. I have considered a Lich run but will probably wait until I finish at least one of the other runs. I have experienced a lot of changes on the crusade recruitment side, though honestly how meaningful those are are questionable, but story wise, we have flavor but no substantive differences so far. I am wondering if it is worth the effort at keep 3 playthroughs. Let me give you my prime example as it seems like it should make a lot more difference than it does. Aeon vision. You can see the lawbreakers, but confronting them basically does nothing. You are the commander and everyone just fluffs you off. Then they do the hide your vision during the first meeting, and then show it too you in the second (Soana) and that leads you to make a choice with the bear you might not have made. The Azata path is kind of fluffy, but if what I am seeing is the standard for what happens, I will probably just push the Angel run and split to Legend and do those two only. I had high hopes for the Aeon, but it seems less than satisfying. What say all of you?

Demon, lich and swarm path are very different.
You can tell they spend a lot of time on the evil paths.
The good paths are inded a bit bland.

I've heard that Angel and Aeon are really good from a RPing perspective with Azata being a bit weak narratively - With Aivu + the Island giving a lot of flavor / mechanical bonuses.

In contrast I heard that Demon is awesome narratively but kinda jank mechanically (especially on release). Lich is cool from an "Overlord" RPing perspective but has jank crusader mechanics and negatively effects companion quests with Undead companions having almost no reactivity. Swarm is apparently the only path that is more jank than Gold Dragon.

I've done Trickster / Gold Dragon and am in the process of doing Angel / Demon ATM. Just got back and am thinking of trying to bunch of new builds floating in my mind with my final playthrough being Trickster/Legend.
