The first game is obviously better, but still a decent sequel. It's more of a walking simulator and slower pace than the first one, with fewer cool fights unfortunately. I thought the post credit scene was a bit cheesy lol

A rollercoaster of misery, hope that gets ripped out of your hands, horrific visuals, gut-wrenching plot twists and in the middle a young girls desperate struggle to save her younger brother from all but assured doom.

The gameplay can be a bit confusing in some scenes where it's not always clear what you are supposed to do to get past the current rat obstacle, in most cases you can wing it with one if your tools but there are some scenes that require a specific solution and it can be a bit frustrating if you don't pay close attention to the environment.

All in all a outstanding sequel to arguably GOTY of 2019. The rats are even more horrific this time around and the set pieces are fantastic (the first chase scene is truly spectacular).
