The third main game in the Sigmund Corp Series started with To the Moon. But this time, it's very different. The old characters are not present and there is no patient. Instead, it tells the story of how the technology used to manipulate memories was developed. The ethical aspects are discussed, but more as a side note. Still, this is what I have been waiting to see, digging deeper into the background of the series. It is intertwined with the personal story of the two new protagonists and shines a different light on events in the previous games.

In terms of gameplay, it's nothing new compared to its predecessors. It's even less, because there are no minigames. Which I see as a positive, because I never really liked any of them in the previous games. Also gone are the silly and goofy moments, this game is a lot darker and tells an overall sad story. Have some tissues in arms reach when going through the around 4 hour long story. Unless you are dead inside.

Personally, I liked this one better than Finding Paradise. But it does not get to the same level as To the Moon.

This one is less tearful than the previous ones, but is better than the previous ones. I can't explain it without spoiling it.
