I played this game extensively a long time ago, i see barely any bigger patches to add any content? are they even working on the game anymore?

I was away for around 2 years. Seems not much changed. But did they increase the enemy spawn rate? Or did i just forget how unforgiving this game was? Edit: Oh boi i remember why i took a break.
