Update 5: New Scenario, Modding Improvements and More!

I've just released a new update for The Final Earth 2! This update adds a new scenario, new modding features, some new buildings and more!

The changelog is as follows:
- New scenario: Hippie Commune! The Blossom Hippies want to build a commune full of peace and love, and could use your help managing it. Will you build a idyllic commune, or maybe not?
- New buildings: Pond Pod and Flower School. You'll discover a few scenario-specific buildings in the Hippie Commune scenario too.
- Various new modding functions and improvements! This includes a way to easily add translations via mods, easily add buildings that can merge and much more. Check out the modding docs[florianvanstrien.nl] for more info. If you're interesting in making your own mod, also check out DT's new modding guide[tfe2-modding.github.io] and join my Discord to discuss modding[florianvanstrien.nl]!
- You can now see the all-time production of resources in the resource graph window (note: this only counts production from this update onwards)
- There's now an option to pick a color from your city for decorative elements and custom house colors.
- The Pond Park has a few extra plant variants
- Various bugfixes

Update 4: Side Missions and Decoration

Hi! Thank you for playing The Final Earth! This update contains the following:

There are now some extra optional side missions. You'll find these during the 2nd and 3rd scenario and after completing the normal quests for the Secret Society, Hippies and Hackers. These side missions will unlock a new building, technology or building variation
There are extra visual options for the wooden bridge, custom houses, slanted roofs and for floating platforms
There is a new option to explain how you can increase the happiness
The observatory can now be mirrored
There are also several bugfixes, including for the party house and for sending people to an empty world using the rocket

Update 3: Custom Houses and the Pioneers' Hut

This update focuses on two new features: Custom Houses and the Pioneers' Hut. There are also various other improvements.

Custom Houses

You can now design your own houses! Choose a design, colors and interior, and further customize your house with bonuses. Making a custom house is available quite early in the game. You will unlock further options for it throughout the game.

Pioneers' Hut

Some of your smartest citizens can now help you set up your city! Build the Pioneers' Hut and you'll occasionally get a choice of bonuses during the early game. These bonuses make the early game a bit faster and give you more options. For example, you can make houses cheaper or make your citizens get hungry less quickly. For the final bonus, you even get to choose from four new buildings to unlock for your city! Tip: build a Pioneers' Hut in multiple rocket-connected cities to unlock all these new buildings.

Other Improvements

There are various other additions:

New buildings: Otherworldly Gardens and Dome Otherworldy Gardens. These give you more options for your Otherworldly zoos.
You can now favorite citizens
The first time you don't have enough schools or homes, the game will give you a side mission to fix that
The Spanish and Vietnamese translations have been improved, thanks to qanle and (Neo)³ from the community!

Halloween Event: make your city spooky!

Make your city more spooky with the halloween event, now live in game! During the halloween period, until November 3, you'll be able to unlock and place three new creepy buildings and an upgrade:

The Ghostly Garden is perfect to decorate your city, with cobwebs, creepy trees and more.
The Carved Pumpkin upgrade makes your citizens in Basic Houses happier.
The Horror Game Hall gives the perfect ambience for your citizens to play scary games.
The Haunted Laboratory can give you a lot of knowledge if you build multiple. But don't build too many, or bad things may happen...

The event ends on November 3. After that, you can keep any creepy buildings you placed in your city.

Planets now move slightly with the camera when you scroll the city, making them look less static.

Update 2: Clouds & Planets

This update makes the background of your city look more interesting by adding clouds and planets, which have been drawn by the talented LukXD99. So no more boring blue background during the day!

You can disable the background in the advanced settings, in case you need a litle bit of extra performance or if it's just not your thing.

I'll add more background elements in further upgrades, plus maybe the option to choose from different planet formations for free play scenarios.

- Fixes a bug where some refined metal factory upgrades didn't work properly
- Fixes some minor bugs and oversights in the Upgrade All screen
- Fixes issues with how redwood trees appeared
- There are no longer Waldo lookalikes that aren't really Waldos
