Picked up my chapter 2 save file from October of last year (2024), looking to get the final ending I needed for the achievement. Walked into the room (spoilering this just to be safe!) where Miriam is supposed to spawn behind John (and thus the cutscene with Father Garcia appearing to help John), but Miriam did not spawn in and neither did Father Garcia . Didn't think much of it, until I got to the second phase of the boss fight- Father Garcia finally showed up to the party but was already dead! Thankfully (at least on my end), that's the ending I need as I didn't do any of the evil deeds and already had the good and bad endings under my belt, but figured I'd ask about it because I'm not sure if it's something I did or if it's a genuine bug. I'm not sure if it's relevant (but I'm putting it here anyways before anyone asks), but my save file started at the Spindly Lady encounter at the church. I also already had the flashlight before the flashlight demon room, and did not end up encountering the flashlight demon (although to be completely honest I don't remember if that ended up happening as well when I did my second ending sometime last year).
