It’s been an incredible journey since launching BattleGroupVR, and I can’t thank you enough for all the support!

I’ve been working on a sequel these past few years that expands on everything that made BattleGroupVR fun while adding a robust framework for new features and ways to play. The STEAM page has just been made public here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3385960/BattleGroupVR2/

🔧 Rebuilt Game – I remade the entire game from the ground up so the code base is properly put together and with the scope of what BGVR1 did and more. The battle system has been reworked to fully incorporate full 3D space with 6 shield arcs instead of the flat 4.

🚀 Open-World Mode – Ever wanted to roam the galaxy freely? Now you can! Take on missions, mine resources, trade, hunt pirates, and grow your fleet however you want. No set path—just you, your ships, and a the galaxy to bring to heel.

🔥 Gauntlet Mode – A combat focused, high-risk, high-reward mode where you’ll fight through a procedurally generated map, taking on missions in each sector. Go as far as you can for bigger rewards, but bigger challenges.

⚔️ Conquest Mode – The fan favorite mode is coming back! Create your own factions and battle it out over a persistent map where you compete with other players for control of the galaxy. Your fleet will fight when you’re offline. Expand, fortify, and prove yourself as the best commander out there!

Of course, there’s also deep fleet customization, tons of ships to unlock, and real-time tactical combat designed for epic space battles.

This is still a solo project, just like BattleGroupVR, but I’m building something bigger and better thanks to everything I’ve learned—and all the feedback you’ve given me. I’ll be sharing more details soon. If you haven't already, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the Discord!
