:) He's saying the guy simply doesn't know how to use his units. But that's ridiculous.
The OP makes a good logical argument within the logic of the story line game. Just because it's endless mode doesn't mean you should ignore progression entirely.
''Cevari — 11/22/2021
We decided to look into it with fresh eyes, and it looks like there is some room for better balancing around the early game of Endless mode. Not gonna make promises about what exactly we'll do, but expect some changes in the near future ''
I have to agree. Endless mode seems tacked on, which is fine for players wanting to test mechanics, but I'd play story again before putting any time into it.
I'm not going to deny that Endless was not the main focus of development for Stirring Abyss - we do want it to be fun and challenging without feeling unfair, but it is definitely intended more as an additional thing to play with after/alongside Story mode rather than as a separate standalone game.
Hey, it's a nice added feature that you didn't have to add but did. My only complaint about the main game was that it wasn't longer! Good job!
So I came back. Mission one, assassination of top tier enemies. ON EASY. I realise life happens, but come on.
Do you need suggestions for how to do it, or something? No shame, just asking. Need to know if there's any scaling at all built in, or if the story mode is entirely scripted.
