Does this have a lighthearted "no one dies" kind of story?

It's been discussed multiple times, I know, but what I am curious about is whether or not it would be possible to gain the attention of Square-Enix or even Valve themselves to maybe fix something on the SteamOS side of things regarding this title. Of everything I've bought and played on the Deck, Legend of Mana is the single biggest anomaly as far as actually playing the game goes. I'd like the play these in order, I beat secret of mana but I can't tell which order to play the games in on steam, its not by release date as the 2nd oldest says its the third game. Could someone tell me the full order? Thanks!

When I played this game years ago when I was a kid I do not remember bosses being this obnoxious with the invuln spam. Like don't get me wrong there are plenty of ways to work around the invuln spam by stun locking but it kinda renders skills kinda useless unless you have the twins holding them still with a spell so you can cast your weapon skill to catch the enemy after their spell wears off....
