the RNG sometimes works against you - not much to do but backtrack or start over when you get a seed that does not work for you.

When you say start over, do you mean respawn or make a new game?

new game - I got stuck on one of the nasty islands that just kept killing me, I started over and managed to progress much further as it gave me new islands. I never did finish the game though sadly, there was an NoMansSky event, so I uninstalled to make space and I never picked up Windbound again.

Is starting a new game the only way to reset the undying outfit once you've used it? I'm confused what "per session" means exactly.
