Making my way through the game and was really enjoying it. A couple nights ago I quit the game after an annoying death in chapter 3 caused by me being tired (exited while still in the post-death portal area, not sure if that matters). The next day when i went to open the game my save file was nowhere to be found and in fact there was no continue option, only new game. Looking into the files it does not seem like the save is even there anymore, but I did not do anything with the computer that would have affected those files in the meantime. Has anyone experienced issues with save files disappearing like this before?
