Please send us your crash Logs

We're looking into the crash issue among with other bugs and balancing issues people have been experiencing. We're looking into these but to help us isolate the crashes in particular. If you're able to share your log files and crash dumps it will help us track down the cause and get a fix out as soon as possible.

You can find the files in the following folder

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\5 Lives Studios\Windbound

In that fold we need the player.log and player-prev.log

Also for crashes in particular, please send the contents of the following

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\5 Lives Studios\Windbound\Crashes

to brent at 5livesstudios dot com

Sorry about these issues but we've got some fixes and changes coming soon.

Had two freezes in half an hour so I had to restart my PC two times to get out of the game. In the folder there are no crash dumps, only the logs. By the way....Your game is so fantastic!!!!!! The grafic, atmosphere, gameplay, the setting.....I can see how much love you put in this game and thats what I love. Im sure you will fix all the issues soon.....and if I have to start over 10 times because the game freezes, Windbound is already one of my favorite games. (I stopped playing Horizon Zero Dawn because I want to play Windbound...:-)

Thanks! I got your logs and forwarded them on to the programmers.

If is locking up rather than crashing out to desktop there likely won't be any crash dumps

I will save often so I can play on (the game has manual save!!! yippieee :-))) I hope the devs know what an absolute wonderful and lovely game they made with Windbound. I'm so glad I didn't orient myself to the negative reviews ... this game is so incredibly beautiful ...

are you finding it's locking up in particular conditions? when you do something in specific? or does it just seem random?

Unable to sent email.
DNS error, 5livesstudios domain couldn't be found. brent at 5livesstudios dot com.
Removed the at & dot com & replaced with @ .com

I assume you removed the spaces?, but make sure you have two S's in the middle, I've made the same mistake myself so it's 5 LiveS Studios

At first it was as I ran away from a pig and ran into the sea while the turtorial tells me that I have to press shift for sprinting..., the second was as I fought with a pig.....I think it happens when some more action is going on.....but tell the devs: What a wonderful game!!!!!! :-)

I ran into crash on EGS version, but before, when I played (pirated) GOG version 3 chapters in a row, there was no single crash.
Could crashes be connected to DRM protection or specific service functions?

I only had this two crashes for now....after playing nearly four hours there wasnt a crash anymore. And I love this game :-) It would be great if the developers would later submit a mode in which you can play without this survival aspect, because this game doesn't need such an aspect at all. Discovering the game world and fighting the animals is enough for a great game experience. The search for food all time is rather a bit annoying, as this is not a real survival game, its more exploring.

All good, I've done it myself more times than I can count. Thanks everyone who's sent their crash logs so far, I got a bunch through this morning we're investigating

@wetwired not having any crashes since the update but ame audio keeps dropping out i can correct it by jumping or stiking at the air with a weapon or performing a action
