Netcode for multiplayer features is typically best done at a framework level and not as an afterthought. If there was gonna be any, we'd have long already heard about it.

That's the most dumb thing i've ever read. Even if the game have a multiplayer support you can still play singleplayer and have the same experience. I get it's a story game, but it's more a lazy developers factor than break story immersion. Subnautica have the same issue.

Its not like you could basically play every single multiplayer game in single too but not the opposite?
Singleplayers are made for sad people that feel allone dude
Multiplayer should be standard these days, which is the reason its gonna be a flop
