Just got the notification of getting new items on my inventory from the steam cards from the game.
That was how I knew that the Update has came out.
Let´s see how it is...

No problem on starting over again, actually I love that and hopefully Highscores get a Reset too.
Will we have any other update rendering save files unusable anytime soon?

It's been a long journey, so glad to finally see release for this game, it deserves so much recognition

Wow. I was so excited for this and then I found out there are no new ships. Okay fine, maybe they'll still add ships now that the core mechanics are locked down? I go to log in and find my save nuked. Cool well I have other games to play anyway. Fair well Shipbreaker! It was a nice run.

Love it! So glad I played just under an hour and waited for launch. Only complaint is game didn't recognize my HW and graphics was on low, but that's nothing

I read that it's been common throughout development. Basically, it's way way way easier to require starting over than to upgrade saves. Not just for this game, but most. Otherwise you can wind up with all sorts of weirdness and horrifically broken messes, not to mention straight up missing features.
