Bugged achievement?
Been playing the game for a decently long time not (lvl 16 commander) and I noticed that the "Seasoned sojourner" achievement is not updating, it says that I am at 1/50 times rested while camping.

I can promise that I have rested while camping way more than 1 time (maybe not 50 yet though since my achievement for using class talents while resting only says 26 so far).

Is this just a case of the achievement not updating properly but will unlock at 50 or is it just completely bugged?

I noticed the same thing, I was on 0/50 for ages, then it occurred to me that maybe the word "rest" is being used here in the AD&D sense of the term (ie. for 8 hours) so I started resting for 8 hours at a time while camping, and now I'm suddenly at 7/50. So that could be it.

Ok, Ill try it out next time i'll play. I usually only rest for 2 or 4 hours since more is rarely needed ;)

EDIT: Tried it out now and counter increased to 2/50 so it seems you are correct in that you need to rest for 8 hours for it to work. Thanks for the help :)
