I bought this game almost a year ago and I have given it time to develop even past its supposed 1.0. I shouldn't be booting it up long past its launch to be greeted with graphical glitches and no BGM and stuttering even when I set the graphics down to the point where it looks like I am playing Runescape Classic. I'm really disappointed.

Not recommended as of right now. Wait until the bugs are fixed.

Repeating cutscenes, audio playing when it shouldn't be, sound effects not working, late game machines not working correctly, persisting speech bubbles, enemies and loot falling through floors. I backed this on KS over 3 years ago, and it's been out for almost 2 (albeit in early access for some of that) - this is now classed as fully released game, and I really would expect better than this. I would recommend fixing the bugs in the existing content before adding more filler content.

making progress felt like a slog before, but it felt unplayable after playing a more recent, pixel addition to the farming genre.

i got by okay for 60 hours as you can see, but i tried out a newer game this week and i can't come back to this game. it just feels unrewarding and like it's a job. too much of a time sink for little reward.
