I have been eagerly anticipating this game for quite some time now. It caught my interest from the moment the demo was released, and I was convinced that this would be the game of my dreams. The initial hour of game-play was nothing short of fantastic; however, as more mechanics were introduced, the fun factor seemed to rapidly decline. Let me outline some of the issues I encountered.

1. Lack of Visual Clues
Whether in the level selection lobby or within the levels themselves, I often find myself disoriented and lost. The game fails to effectively highlight interactive elements or indicate the correct path to follow.

Maybe the developers aimed to create a sense of discovery within the game play, but this approach just did not work because of the game's unforgiving nature: When I kick the right wall but not the right place, your jumping height is still not enough; Jump on the right green circle, still flying to the wrong place; Distinguishing between whether I am on the wrong path or simply lacking the necessary skill to execute a particular jump poses a significant challenge within the game. The ambiguity between these two scenarios often leaves me uncertain about the root cause of my difficulties and wasting my energy and time.

More example like some gap need slide jumps while some need regular jumps, there are always no clear visual indicators to differentiate between them, leading to further confusion and frustration.

2. Some mechanics are simply not fun at all
Personally, I do not derive any fun from using the spear. Its slow pace, limited range, and seemingly random spinning motion detract from the game-play. Whenever I find myself equipped with a spear, I can't help but wish for a sword instead. The sword offers a far more engaging and entertaining game-play experience in comparison to the underwhelming spear.However, despite my preference for the sword, certain levels within the game compel me to utilize the spear. This requirement to use the spear, even when it's not my favored weapon, adds an additional layer of challenge to the gameplay experience.

At times, I can't shake the feeling that the game introduces new mechanics solely to ramp up the difficulty and harshness, rather than to offer fresh and enjoyable ways to interact with the game world. Increasing the challenge doesn't automatically equate to enhancing the fun factor. I believe that true enjoyment stems from a balanced blend of engaging gameplay elements that not only test our skills but also provide a sense of fulfillment and enjoyment throughout the gaming experience.

3. Just Pure Confusion
The game introduces a myriad of mechanics, making it easy to forget how each one should be executed. Even when I engage the "focus" mode by pressing Z to review instructions, I still struggle to grasp the workings of certain mechanics without videos or visual tips.

This lack of clarity extends to combat as well; I fought shielded enemies many times but still don't understand how they work. Initially, I assumed that using kicking fire was the solution, but I have also resorted to using regular barrels and swords, with inconsistent results. The lack of guidance leaves me perplexed, as I am unsure why I sometimes succeed while others fail.

Expecting players to remember all the combo after a single explanation is just unrealistic. It would greatly benefit the game-play experience if tips and instructions were reiterated whenever visiting similar structure, aiding players in mastering the mechanics and combat strategies more effectively.

4. Unpredictable Fight
At times, my death in the game feels sudden and arbitrary, leaving me perplexed about the cause of my defeat. The unpredictability of enemy behavior lead to this confusion—some enemies block my attacks while others do not, for enemies that did block, they did not block every time. In essence, the lack of predictability within the game enemies undermines my ability to anticipate and react effectively, leading to frustrating and seemingly random deaths.

Frequently, I died without a clear understanding of what went wrong. This lack of clarity prevents me from identifying the cause of my failures and devising strategies to avoid repeating the same mistakes. Consequently, I find myself trapped in a cycle of repeated deaths in identical situations, unable to discern the necessary adjustments to prevent further failures.

I am disappointed as I find myself unable to complete the game. The lack of motivation to finish it weighs heavily on me. I am hopeful that some of these issues can be addressed and fixed in updates, or perhaps in the next game. Despite my current frustrations, I remain committed to showing my support for the developers and their future endeavors.
