Another Atelier in the bag and once again...I'm completely split down the middle on this one. The initial 3 years of game play was a great time and I enjoyed pretty much everything...but that last free year just eats up so much of the game with nothing new to do except make endgame gear...and if you're not really interested in doing that (like me) you're going to be bored and sleep the whole thing away. I did TRY to make post game sufficient gear of course...but upon going to the super bosses and getting absolutely bodied, despite all the time I spent making the equipment, I just felt like I was better off moving on to the next game. It is cool we get a dual protagonist setup for this game though, and since we did, I chose to play as Logy in my run. It was neat getting to experience the usual Atelier setup with a male protagonist, though it does ♥♥♥♥ the true ending is locked behind a New Game Plus play through. Oh well...maybe one day.
