What happens:
-Your system data seemingly randomly resets to default when starting the game
How do you see that:
-You go to the options and whatever you changed isn't there anymore. Likewise unlocked costumes and so on will be gone.
How to prevent that:
-Every time you start the game, check the options to see if it's default or your settings. (you obviously need to have changed something before) Should you see, that it's default and NOT what you had, quit the game. System data will only save if you change something right now. DO NOT change anything. Alt+f4 or cancel out of it and choose quit on the main menu. Start the game again, check again. Usually it works now, though if it doesn't you need to quit and try again.
System data will only be lost and overwritten, should you actually modify your reset system data. The issue seems to not be that it's just randomly deleted, but just randomly not loaded.
While this can be avoided, I don't think the other issues of this port can.(vsync broken, choppy full screen gameplay, terrible 2d and text scaling for resolutions below 1080p) Worst Atelier port, easily.
I suppose you would have to download from the internet somewhere. If you want I could share my data with you.
