rope slide glitch?

Bout 50 percent of the time I try to jump for a rope slide she simply jumps off the cliff to her death. Any one else experience this?

Yep, Sylens even told me not to fall but I did. I moved closer to the edge before jumping which worked.

You are overthinking the problem

Remember: This is a console game. Run and jump, even a step or two will enable connecting to the rope. Also, with a controller NEVER quit pushing the stick forward when you jump. Run, jump let go of stick -> miss, and in this case Death. Unlike ancient consoles modern ones, and PC games can react very quickly to control changes (faster than the old hand held games anyway). Keep pushing.

PC, I do believe the issue is run. The PC seems needs to have forward momentum before running.
