Do mods work as of July 2024?
I went to nexus and used the vortex mod manager to install mods however the game would not start. I uninstalled one mod at a time and was unable to launch the game until all mods were removed. Does anyone know if mods just don't work with the latest version? If there are mods that work could anyone recommend a couple?

What I install as far as I remember where:

Face/body replacement
Skip Intro logos
More inventory/ammo
Better coils
More animals

Most of the mods where from looking at the all time fav/downloaded from nexus.

Mods are working fine with the latest game version. However, the Vortex mod manager is known to be somewhat problematic with installing mods to certain games. Try manually installing the mods and see if you still have issues with launching the game.

As for recommendations, I use the following mods:
Better Animal Spawns
Better Quality Drops
Better Stacks
Horizon Zero Dawn Gameplay Tweaks
Remove Fall Damage

All of those are from Nexus. I also use the Aloy's Adjustments mod which is NOT available on Nexus, so here's the link for that one:

Thanks for the reply Grizzly. While the Skip intro still causes a crash, I manually installed some mods files and it didn't crash.

Instead of using the Skip Intro mod check out Horizon Zero Dawn Gameplay Tweaks, which, amongst all the tweaks it includes, is a Skip Intro Logos option.

So I downloaded the HZD Gameplay tweaks and was able to skip the intro as well as some of the other tweaks. Thanks for all the help!

You're gonna have to find that one yourself. I accidentally posted a video of some adult mods to a thread and it got nuked. Or OP deleted it. But I have a feeling it was mods.
