Is this a visual novel with SRPG elements or an SRPG with VN elements?
I liked the anime to this and was thinking of getting it but I prefer an SRPG to a VN which is this?

It's mostly VN. Small SRPG part isn't even good here. Though it's very good in Mask of truth.

Visual Novel with SRPG. The problem with the SRPG parts though is it's way too easy. It's unbalanced in your favor and not the enemies. The original 2002 version is harder but it has those sex scenes and the character portraits are outdated.
