Edit Pass for PC Release?
I was considering buying this but saw that the original release did some weird localization decisions surrounding any gendered language, some cursing, and making a few things sillier than they initially were. I read that for this PC port, there was an editing pass. Was any of that fixed? Is there a fan translation?

What you read was a thread by a rather notorious troll who loves to take individual lines out of context, put them through a machine translator, find the most egregious examples, and claim games are censored because the professional translation is different. It's best to ignore him.

Compared to the PS4/Vita version, the PC version's script fixes several typos and a couple of lines that were translated incorrectly, but it's still mostly the same script. There is also a fan patch that fixes a a few terms that were inconsistent between this game's translation (which was done by NISA) and the sequels' translations (which were done by Atlus): https://github.com/vimiani/uta-prelude-script-fixes

There isn't a complete fan translation because, aside from those inconsistent terms, it's a good translation.
