If the alien spots you, you're dead. It has really bad stealth mechanics, it doesn't have any skills or anything to help you. Even something like a basic ability to throw a rock to make noise somewhere to draw attention away from you is missing.
This game shines, when you control your full squad of marines.
edit: LMAO are you talking about the intro where it teaches you to move and take cover while also doing some exposition? Tip: Administrator Hayes is not a marine. She/you guide marines through the levels. I'd like to make a video game some day but having customers like you would drive me to madness.
Gamers are whiny babies with the attention span of a fruit fly and the patience of a Karen asking for the manager. I swear...
Are you high?
You can literally use the drone to make noise and lure enemies away from you, or even into landmines without being spotted.
In some areas it's a really OP tactic even.
You can also use silenced precision shots to kill enemies before getting spotted to make stealth kills.
Laughs in overloaded noisemaker surrounded by mines in a welded room close to a hive.
And you can upgrade your team to move faster to slip by enemies faster and not get detected. Or you can upgrade to silenced sniper shots.
Of course you wouldnt know if you did not even complete the TUTORIAL.
