Hello. I decided to try starting the game using the DX11 option. Textures are normal in this option, apparently. Any idea what that means?
The game was running fine until yesterday. Out of nowhere, this happened.
I will carry out the procedures you indicated. I'll be back soon with more updates on the matter.
I found it!! Apparently it's a bug. And we all managed to solve it together, at least partially, which allows me to continue playing this delight.
I'm gonna explain:
First I ran the game in DX11 and saw that the save was normal, because in this option the game runs normally, with the textures working.
After that I followed the steps you indicated:
1. Which settings are you running
2. Verify gam caches through Steam, or unistall it, removing the folder and also the saves, then re-downloading it after a reboot.
3. See if is fixed, if is not then it could be a single issue related to your particular save, or your settings, or your machine.
And then I opened the game again.
After carrying out the steps you indicated and starting the game normally through Steam, without using the DX11 option, the game apparently had the same error. However, this time, when trying to change the graphics settings I noticed that the texture quality was changing as I was choosing the texture quality in the settings.
So it was like this:
When I open the game the texture is all blurry, no matter the quality or the settings I choose to play, the texture appears blurry when I open the game.
So I go to the settings, under the texture options, and there I change the texture quality to any quality, and then change it back to the "epic" option. When I do that, the texture reappears, normal, without being blurred. Every time I open the game to play I have to do this procedure to see the textures again, beautiful as they should be.
P.S: Whatever texture quality option I choose, other than the "epic" option, the textures are displayed blurry. At the moment, I can only play now with the textures in "epic", changing every time I open the game or starting the game with the DX11 option selected on Steam.
OK !! Thank you so much for all the attention, support and help you gave me.
Now I can continue playing this game that I love so much.
Thought it was my system but if you say it is the update... well guess i stop playing again then. xD
Hello. Did you do the procedures? Try to do the steps I did. It improved a lot for me.
I'm having this same problem again.
But this time, I can't solve it the old way.
Would anyone know a solution?
