Are you kidding me? I don’t care if it’s N64 limitation or what, you just find the space for all sprites necessary for the main workhorse weapon of the game, cut the absolute cheap bastard of the final boss if you must. What’s here is a total eyesore and bugged me non-stop the whole game.

The game itself is barely passable, too. It starts out fun enough, but quickly dissolves into tedious and idiotic where-do-I-go land. Some of the «puzzles» here are the punishable offense. Flip the switch that opens who-knows-what who-knows-where is one thing, but shoot this thing on a wall (which isn’t a thing the whole game prior) to proceed? Pick up this weapon (you can’t do it if your ammo is full) to proceed? Solve the multi-layer «puzzle» by running around mostly empty level for like 10 minutes to proceed? I am sorry, what game are you making, is it Myst?

Honestly the only reason to pick this up is if you want to play absolutely everything Doom, otherwise just play the never-ending supply of quality WADs for the original, Doom 64 campaign included

Honestly A really fun game, I use to play a crappy port of this on a poorly coded emulator. so It is fun to play the real thing at a decent frame rate and resolution.

It's a fun game, quiet simple, easy to get into!

Eh, I didn't really like it. Weapons feel nice but it's being bogged down by obtuse level design, low enemy variety and a surprisingly unremarkable soundtrack.

My God I love this game, it's definitely in the top 3 list of my favorite DOOM titles. I used to play this game on the N64 way back and to see Nightdive Studios work their magic and remaster this is like a dream come true. They even added new levels to continue the story. One of the main reasons why I love this game is it's soundtrack, it's nightmarish. It goes so well with the game's dark nature, like chocolate and peanut butter. Another reason is the new graphical presentation. The new enemy and weapon sprites were remodeled and they look superb. The demons look even more threatening and the new weapon sprites look like they can deliver some serious firepower. They even added a new weapon 'The Unmaker' which is essentially a demonic laser gun and it looks fantastic. The third reason is the sound design. When I fire a weapon of any kind I feel a sense of power due to the sounds. From the loud blast of the super shotgun to the devastating roar of the BFG9000 it is a symphony of destruction. The replay value is high for me and I will always be playing this game until the end. **Chef's kiss**

Had this for a while now. Loved it, now it opens and I can't select anything. Can't start the game or eve exit it. They messed something up!!!!!!! I try to look up the issue. No answers and I can't contact support.
