So from what I see this function has limited use without constant checking. If you have 5 million levels, and you cap it and for the next day you go up to 7 million levels, the time of each level increases 40% from the time it take for level 5000001 to level 7000000. The counter to this is that the ngu beard will increase during the first part of your run. I guess this wont matter as much when you get the NGU's up to the point where you cannot increase their levels by 10-25 percent in a day but until then...

so the only downside to going to evil earlier than ideal is that you lose your number back to zero? (and of course it goes crazy slow) Other than that you can always go back to normal mode?

Does it bottom out at 60%?
