Has anybody tried Steam Remote Play?

Hi! I've been meaning to ask anybody with the game (preferably someone on Windows/Mac) that has played online through Steam Remote Play? How was the game? Was there so much lag and delay on the other player's input? Any input would be appreciated or if someone can share their experience. I bought the game but didn't realize it was a local co-op game! My partner and I have been looking forward to play this, but just didn't look into the game details and just bought immediately. :(

Hi there! Yes I have played this start to finish with a friend using remote play. I hosted, and my friend had no issues at all. The lag is tiny, almost invisible, and not a problem at all for this game. We had no issues.
In fact, the only reason I saw this discussion post was because I was looking at the DLC or whether there's a sequel or not that me and my same friend can play Remote Play together, as the first one (this one) was so good!

So yes, this is very good with remote play as long as you have the bandwidth to make Remote Play work of course.
