I found a solution to K-1 that only uses one of the toggle cubes... and it doesn't need to toggle, it's just used as a single regular cube! Just in case anyone else is as dumb as I am, starting at level G-1 is a new type of prism cube. It has nine outline squares on top of it (three columns). It took me a while to figure out, but the light will emit from the side of the cube with the red outline squares closest to it. The left column controls light going 45 degrees left, the right column controls light going 45 degrees right, and the middle column controls light going straight ahead. I can click a mirror to select it, click the other mirror, and they'll swap. Same with two cubes. But I can't click a cube, then click a mirror and swap them. Why not? It means I have to find somewhere else to dump the item I've selected, move the 2nd item to where the 1st was, then put the 1st item where the 2nd was. I've pretty much enjoyed the series up until this point. I hate to say I'm actually stuck, spending hours on puzzles at a time. It wasn't too bad until I got to I-1. Had to look up a walkthrough for the first time in the entire series. I'm not sure why. Part of me thinks it has to do with how much more open ended placing cubes has become in this entry of ReThink, with the grid based placing system, but if that were the case, I'm not sure how I was able to come this far on my own. Put a prism cube in the path of light, then move the cube to another location which has no light, but a directional cube pointing back at it. There will be light emitting from the prism cube towards the directional cube and back at the prism cube, even though no light is hitting either cube. Not a major bug but still kind of weird.
